We had two special guests this morning: my sister Joy and her friend Paul Cassella, lead singer for local band The 8th Grade. We heard a few songs from the CD The 8th Grade, dished a little, and plugged tomorrow night’s show at 12th and Porter. It’s at 8 p.m.—be there!
Today’s Seven O’Clock Special was an ’80s dance party featuring Bronski Beat’s “I Feel Love,” New Order’s “Blue Monday,” and Goldfrapp’s “Ooh La La.” The latter is from the 2006 album Supernature, but I think it fits right in.
